Michigan's Summer Swarm tour of satellite camps kicks off next week. Regardless of SEC uproar, the show will go on and Jim Harbaugh and staff will travel across the nation to coach and meet with some of the top prospects out there.
One of the last stops on the tour before returning back to the Metro Detroit area is the DB Guru Football Camp in Fresno, California, which also happens to be the hometown of one of Michigan's top 2016 targets.
Five-star linebacker Caleb Kelly will be in attendance when the Wolverine staff heads to California and it seems like he is extremely excited for it. He spoke to Tim Sullivan of Rivals in the Detroit Free Press earlier this week. (FREE)
"They're having one of their satellite camps in Fresno (June 11), I feel like it's basically just for me," Kelly said with a laugh. "They're coming down, and I'll be out there hanging out with all the coaches. It was cool how it came about. It is special to have all those coaches come."
...
"All the coaches out there, they're NFL-level, but they're college coaches," Kelly said. "They handle business. They practiced four hours, they have their meetings as long as they can, and it's just football, football, football.
"It's cool going out there having the coaches that have been in the league, because they have connections to the league," he said. "It's cool just going and meeting all those dudes. You just know that they have those connections, so it's a good thing for the future if you go there."
