According to 247Sports (FREE), 2016 commit Antwaine Richardson will not play his senior season due to an ACL injury he sustained back in May.

The 3-star cornerback from Delray Beach, FL was offered shortly after competing during Michigan's Summer Swarm tour. According to Richardson, the coaching staff was aware of his injury at that time.

Richardson planned to enroll early at Michigan to get an early start on the field and in the classroom.

4-Star DT Talks Michigan Visit

Over the weekend, Euless Trinity (TX) defensive tackle Chris Daniels visited several schools in the midwestern region, including Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State.

What exactly did Daniels have to say about his visit? He highlighted the education he would receive at Michigan and of course, Coach Harbaugh.

According to 247Sports ($), Daniels is expected to release his top five soon.

Michigan Remains on Kareem's radar

Four-star defensive end Khalid Kareem, from Farmington Hills, MI, stated on Monday that the Michigan coaching staff is still in pursuit of him. An Alabama commit, Kareem would not rule out the possibility of an official visit, either, according to Rivals. (FREE)

More than 40 schools offered Kareem prior to his commitment with the Crimson Tide, and a few of them are not throwing in the towel just yet. This includes Michigan, which finished 2nd on his list.

Said Kareem on Monday,

"Michigan is still making a lot of contact with me," Kareem said. "I talk mainly with Coach [Chris] Partridge and Coach [D.J.] Durkin. Tennessee is also in there too."

It does not appear as though Kareem's commitment to Alabama is set in stone just yet, so look for this story to become very intriguing if he does elect to visit Ann Arbor.

Rivals Releases List of 2016 Recruiting Needs

On Monday, Rivals ($) released an updated list of the holes Michigan still needs to fill in the 2016 recruiting class.

The list focuses heavily on the defensive line and special teams.
