2016 CB Sir Patrick Scott Commits To Michigan

Michigan adds to its secondary on the day of the BBQ at the Big House.

Update: A quick analysis of what Scott brings to the Wolverines can be found here.

Michigan football received some good news on the day of the BBQ at the Big House outside of a delicious choice of meats coming off of the grill.

Class of 2016 cornerback Sir Patrick Scott (Upper Marlboro, Maryland) announced his commitment to Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines on Sunday during one of the bigger recruiting days of the year, according to Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247.

Scott is a three-star prospect and the 59th-ranked cornerback in the cycle, according to 247's Composite Ranking system.

Michigan beat out Wake Forest, Boston College, California and more for his services.

At 6-1, 175 pounds, Scott gives the Wolverines another bigger player as a part of their secondary, which will transition to more of a physical, press coverage look under the new coaching staff.

It is possible Michigan is done at the cornerback position in this class unless someone decommits or Benjamin St. Juste ends up being a 2017 prospect.
