Hi, my name is Garrett Fishaw and I like to party. Wait, no. My name is Garrett Fishaw from MGoFish.com and I will be a recruiting contributor to Maize n Brew. And for my opening act, I have put together a roundup of Michigan's 2016 commitments and their performances in this past weekend's games, which included their quarterback commit showing out on national TV.

- S Josh Metellus
- RB Matt Falcon vs Farmington
QB Brandon Peters vs Brownsburg
Please put ESPNU on right now and watch @umichfootball commit and @Elite11 Finals QB @Bpeters2118 drop #Dimes under the bright lights.
— Trent Dilfer (@TDESPN) September 12, 2015
Another ESPN employee, John Buccigross, jumped in to praise Peters as well:
Michigan football fans you are getting one good QB in Brandon Peters. Indiana high school kid with a pure release on ESPNU. Spinnin' it
— John Buccigross (@Buccigross) September 12, 2015
Make sure to check out Peters' interview with Mike Sanborn, as well.
RB Kingston Davis and LB Dytarious Johnson vs Smiths Station
Michigan's power running back and underrated linebacker commitments helped keep the Prattville Lions undefeated on the year with a solid 28-7 win over Smiths Station.
Here are the full game highlights:
RB/ATH Kiante Enis vs Union County
After putting together a really nice stat line in the first 3 games of the year which included over 500 yards rushing, around 8 yards per carry and 8 touchdowns, Enis helped lead Winchester to a convincing win over Union County, 39-8.
WR Brad Hawkins and DE Ron Johnson vs Highland Regional
In their first real game of the season, Hawkins and Johnson helped lead Camden to a huge win over Highland Regional, 42-0. While I was unable to get their final stats (I know, I know. My bad), Hawkins did put the last points of the game on the board with a 26 yard touchdown run.
Here are the game highlights:
TE Sean McKeon vs St John's
The only tight end commitment of the class dropped the first game of his senior year, 19-8 to the #2 ranked team in Massachusetts in St. John's. As for McKeon's performance, it's easy to see why he's under ranked as a tight end when he's only targeted once in the game:
Sean McKeon's first target of the day is a 3-yard out with 7 minutes to go in the ball game.

OT Erik Swenson vs Hinsdale South
The first commitment of the class is just a man amongst boys at the high school level. He went up against Michigan State commit DE Josh King's Hinsdale South and though his team lost, he dominated on the offensive line and had himself an all-you-can-eat pancake dinner.
I've seen three Erik Swenson pancake blocks in five snaps. I feel sorry for his opponent. Swenson is just that much bigger.

OT Devery Hamilton vs Eastern Christian Academy
Coached by fullback Henry Poggi's father, Biff (yep, like Back to the Future), Gilman is one of the best high school football teams in the country and Hamilton is a big reason why. The big offensive tackle helped lead the Greyhounds to a very big win over Michigan commit LB Dele Harding's ECA, 42-14.
OL Ben Bredeson vs West
For the last time in his career, Bredeson helped lead his team to a big win over the Wolverines (West high school) and moved Arrowhead to a 4-0 record to kick off his senior year.
OG Michael Onwenu vs Mumford
Another offensive lineman commit with a very convincing win this weekend as Onwenu helped keep Cass Tech undefeated with a 42-9 win over Mumford.
LB David Reese vs Southfield
Plenty of commitments performed well this week but there may not have been a better individual performance than Farmington's David Reese. The two way player was a beast on both sides of the ball, wreaking havoc as a linebacker and full back, which has to make Jim Harbaugh smile.
On the first play of the second half, Farmington's David Reese recovered a Southfield fumble and took it for a touchdown. 18-14 'Jays now
— Dan Fenner (@DanFenner) September 12, 2015
But in the end, his Falcons were handed their first loss of the season by injured Michigan commit RB Matt Falcon's Southfield Eagles.
LB Dele Harding vs Gilman
After a fantastic win over Rashan Gary and Paramus Catholic last week, Harding and ECA were dealt a bad loss to Michigan commit OT Devery Hamilton's Gilman Greyhounds, 42-14, to fall to 1-2 on the season.
CB Sir Patrick Scott vs Douglass
One of the newest Michigan commitments had himself a great game and helped lead the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders to a 2-1 start on the year after beating Douglass 17-8. As for Scott's performance, it's exactly what you'd like to see out of a lockdown corner.
CB Benjamin St-Juste vs Cégep Limoilou
As for some north of the boarder news, St-Juste and Cegep du Vieux fell to Cégep Limoilou in a close battle 24-17. But good news is, the Michigan 2016/2017 commit had himself a nice game though he wasn't targeted too much.
ATH Chris Evans vs Center Grove
Michigan's Swiss army knife commit led Ben Davis up against Indiana' #1 team, Center Grove, and lost 31-19 to fall to 2-2 on the season. As for Evans' performance, he played well but really didn't get going on the ground besides his two scores:
#Michigan commit Chris Evans with a 1-yard TD run to get Ben Davis on the board. Missed PAT & score is 14-6. @SamWebb77
— Anna Hickey (@AnnaHScout) September 11, 2015
Chris Evans adds another with 25.8 to go. Center Grove leads Ben Davis 31-19. @TheHCFlyer @gridirondigest
— Jordan Rich (@JordoRich) September 12, 2015
Final Stats: 8 carries for 37 yards and 2 TDs, 9 receptions for 83 yards
