There was some movement with Michigan football's 2016 recruiting class today, as cornerback commit Benjamin St-Juste (Montreal, Quebec) will reclassify to the 2017 class, Wolverine247 confirmed on Wednesday.
The three-star prospect committed to the Wolverines back in June when he was in town for the program's summer camp.
NCAA Clearinghouse concerns made it unclear whether or not he would be joining the 2016 class or ending up having to wait until 2017.
The move puts the Wolverines at 22 commitments in the 2016 cycle with still three to five spots, and maybe even more, potentially remaining. Grayshirts have been mentioned as a possibility, according to those close to the program.
Other defensive backs currently committed are Sir Patrick Scott, Antwaine Richardson, Devin Gil and Josh Metellus.
St-Juste now becomes the second commitment of the 2017 cycle, joining tight end Carter Dunaway.
