Michigan is in the process of rebuilding the linebacker corps for 2016 and beyond. Three-star linebacker Jonathan Jones is right at the top of the list when it comes to players at the position still on the board.
Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown saw Jones for an in-home visit on Thursday and spent time with him at his high school in Orlando, Florida on Friday.
Jones tells Maize n Brew that the visit went well and that he would rate the visit "a ten."
UM DC Don Brown spent the day with Jonathan Jones at his school, and his home yesterday. This was Brown's first trip. Jones rated it a 10.

"Whether I go there or not, Michigan is going to be a powerhouse," he said. "They're bringing some incredible people in, like (Coach) Brown."
Jones also says that Michigan sees him at the SAM linebacker position.
He is currently taking an official visit to UCF and will do the same at Duke next weekend, but this is likely a two-horse race between Michigan and Notre Dame.
