Long's decision is also set to be televised live on ESPNU's Recruiting Nation show that starts at 6 p.m. ET. He is a four-star prospect and the eighth-ranked cornerback in the class of 2016, per the 247 Composite.
Long decommitted from Stanford in December and his recruitment has been trending the way of the Wolverines since, though Washington is seen as a contender, as well. He took an official visit to see the Huskies this past weekend.
Michigan is hoping for commits from both Long and fellow four-star LaVert Hill as defensive backs to help close out the 2016 class.
