Jeter, who took an official visit to Michigan for the Homecoming game vs. Illinois, is a four-star prospect and the 11th-ranked strong-side defensive end in the 2017 class, per the 247 Composite ranking system.
His commitment puts the 2017 class back up to 17 members. Jeter joins Luiji Vilain and Corey Malone-Hatcher as the other two defensive ends that Michigan has taken so far in this cycle.
