Michigan gets flip from former Notre Dame commit

Four-star defensive lineman Donovan Jeter announced his commitment to Michigan Sunday afternoon, just a few days after decommitting from Notre Dame. Jeter said as recently as last Tuesday that Notre Dame was still his top school and told fans in South Bend not to worry about him "not coming back," but it appears his official visit in Ann Arbor this weekend was enough to change his mind.

Michigan Targets Shine in Detroit City Title

Michigan targets Jaylen Kelly-Powell, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and Ambry Thomas backed up their high rankings yet again on Friday evening as Detroit King and Cass Tech faced off at Ford Field for the Detroit City Championship. Thomas finished with three touchdowns and 156 receiving yards for King, while Peoples-Jones added one receiving touchdown and Kelly-Powell racked up 71 yards rushing. Cass Tech asserted their number one ranking again with a 41-20 victory over the Crusaders, the second victory over King this season.

Four-Star DT raves about Michigan visit

Four-star DT target Jay Tufele was among another key group of visitors this weekend as Michigan improved to 7-0 against Illinois. The Bingham (UT) product spent time with current commits Donovan Jeter and Phillip Paea Saturday, just hours before Jeter's commitment to Michigan. As the defensive line continues to assert its dominance on gamedays, the incoming class continues to garner attention from an impressive lineup of recruits. Tufele could be yet another huge addition to an already eye-popping group of commitments.
