The big official visit weekend is over and the recruiting dead period is underway, but it is going to be far from dead for Michigan football in the coming days.
Elite wide receiver prospect Donovan Peoples-Jones (Detroit, Michigan) will be making his college decision this Thursday, according to Justin Rose of WXYZ in Detroit.
MI's top prospect, @dpeoplesjones will announce his college decision Thursday night on @ESPNU from our studio. #Michigan #MSU in final 5

Peoples-Jones is a five-star prospect and the top-ranked wide receiver in not only the state, but also the entire country, according to the 247 Composite.
Michigan is the leader in the clubhouse here and has been for quite awhile. Ohio State flew in last night for an in-home visit before the dead period ended, but everything is pointing to the Wolverines nabbing the local wideout.
Michigan State, Florida and Florida State are schools in contention, but it really comes down to the Wolverines and everyone else.
Crazier things have happened, but look for the Wolverines to put a major stamp on the wide receiver position before week’s end.
