Michigan Football continued its hot streak on the recruiting trail on Monday afternoon in the form of a commitment from class of 2017 defensive end Deron Irving-Bey (Flint, Michigan).
Irving-Bey is a four-star prospect and the ninth-ranked strong side defensive end in the 2017 class. His commitment also gives the Wolverines the top-six players from the state of Michigan in this cycle, joining Donovan Peoples-Jones, Ambry Thomas, Joshua Ross, Jaylen Kelly-Powell and Corey Malone-Hatcher.
The Wolverines were able to fend off the Michigan State Spartans, among others, for his services.
Irving-Bey’s commitment is the fourth for Michigan since Thursday and 24th overall in this class with some major targets still on the board. Commitmas may be far from over for the program in the coming days with four-star linebacker Jordan Anthony set to decide on Thursday.
