High School Season Finishes for Most Recruits

The high school football season has wrapped up for most of Michigan's recruiting targets, ending with some hardware for many recruits. QB commit Dylan McCaffrey (Valor Christian) and LB target Drew Singleton (Paramus Catholic) both led their teams to state championships over the weekend, while RB commit Kurt Taylor (Grayson) and OT commit Kai-Leon Herbert (American Heritage) led their teams to semifinal victories. With the high school season finally drawing to a close for almost every recruiting target, Michigan should have a clearer idea of their chances with these athletes.

Michigan Picks Up Safety Signee

Three-star safety J'Marick Woods signed with Michigan Friday morning after a close recruiting battle between Michigan, Arkansas, and Mississippi State. Woods took official visits to all three during this football season as well as accepting in-home visits from all three coaching staffs, but eventually reaffirmed his intentions to enroll at Michigan this January. Woods joins fellow safety commit Jaylen Kelly-Powell out of Cass Tech in this recruiting class, with still room for a handful of other defensive backs.
