Michigan Football Recruiting: National Signing Day 2016 Open Thread and Live Blog

Welcome to Maize n Brew's official National Signing Day 2016 open thread and live blog. The staff will be here all day to chat with our readers and answer questions, as well as react to the latest news, twists and turns of Wednesday's happenings.

To start, here is the scheduled announcements and times pertaining to Michigan on Wednesday:

8:15 a.m. - WR Nate Johnson: Michigan

8:30 a.m. - ATH Mecole Hardman: Georgia

9 a.m. - DB Lavert Hill: Michigan

9 a.m. - OT Alaric Jackson: Iowa

11 a.m. - K Quinn Nordin: Michigan

11:30 a.m. - DE Connor Murphy: USC

1 p.m. ET - WR Pie Young: USC

1:10 p.m. - DT Rashan Gary: Michigan

3:20 p.m. - TE Devin Asiasi: Michigan

3:20 p.m. - DT Boss Tagaloa: UCLA

4 p.m. - ATH Victor Viramontes: Cal

Unlike year's past, no faxed-in letters of intent will be announced early in the morning. The official announcement of LOIs will be during the Signing with the Stars event. The U-M social media accounts will still post updates throughout the day, including after the event with the west coast prospects that may or may not choose Michigan.

Regardless, we will still embed LOIs that come in throughout the day below.

Signing of the Stars

LOI/Class Anouncement Tracker

7:46 a.m. - The first LOI of 2016 is in. DE/OLB Josh Uche

8:02 a.m. - Looks like any official announcements we get before the event are early enrollees. LB Devin Bush the first tweeted out.

8:23 a.m. - U-M announces RB/FB Kingston Davis

11:17 a.m. - David Long is in.

8:25 a.m. - DT Michael Dwumfour is in.

8:28 a.m. - Safety Khaleke Hudson is signed, sealed and delivered.

8:41 a.m. - Michigan announces early enrollee No. 3: DE/OLB Carlo Kemp.

9:01 a.m. - Michigan announces tight end Sean McKeon.

9:22 a.m. - Ahmir Mitchell, the 5th early enrollee, has been tweeted out.

9:42 a.m. - U-M's 2016 QB has been announced. Welcome Brandon Peters!

10:02 a.m. - The last of Michigan's seven early enrollees has been announced.

11:17 a.m. - David Long has sent Michigan his LOI.

12:01 p.m. - Quinn is (officially) in.

12:15 p.m. - Ron Johnson announced

12:20 p.m. - Mike Dwumfour is in.

12:23 p.m. - DE/OLB Josh Uche is officially in after announcing he sent in his letter earlier.

12:26 p.m. - LB Elysee Mbem-Bosse is in.

12:29 p.m. - WR Dylan Crawford is in.

12:33 p.m. - WR Brad Hawkins is officially in.

12:34 p.m. ATH Chris Evans is in. Harbaugh says he will play running back and slot receiver.

12:36 p.m. - Recently-committed TE Nick Eubanks is in.

12:41 - OL Ben Bredeson is offically in.

12:47 p.m. - OL Stephen Spanellis is in.

12:58 p.m. - DB Josh Metellus is in.

1:01 p.m. - Lavert Hill is officially in.

1:04 p.m. - Big Mike Onwenu is in.

1:22 p.m. - The school announced that David Long officially is in.

1:25 p.m. - Nate Johnson committed this morning, and his LOI is in.

1:27 p.m. Devin Gil has sent in his paperwork.

1:29 p.m. - Khaleke Hudson faxed in his papers earlier, but here's the school's announcement.

1:31 p.m. - Eddie McDoom is officially a Wolverine.

1:35 p.m. - Michigan has announced all of recruits except for Rashan Gary, who just committed to the Wolverines on ESPN, and Dytarious Johnson. More announcements from the De La Salle duo and Victor Viramontes are on the way.

3:36 p.m. - Devin Asiasi quickly has sent in his LOI. It's official.

4:23 p.m. - Exhale, folks. Rashan Gary is officially in.
