Lasater is a three-star prospect and the 25th-ranked linebacker in the 2017 class, according to the 247 Composite. He is the second linebacker they have taken in the class so far, along with four-star prospect Joshua Ross.
He is also listed as a fullback, so it is possible the staff is recruiting him there, as well. Jim Harbaugh and company like to bring in players that are versatile talents.
Lasater's commitment brings the Wolverines up to nine in the 2017 class and it currently ranks ninth in the country where we stand today.
We could see some more players pull the trigger this weekend while in town for the spring game, so stay tuned to see what happens.
