Michigan Football added another member to its 2017 recruiting class on Saturday afternoon on the form of defensive tackle Phillip Paea (Berrien Springs, Michigan), multiple outlets are reporting.

Paea is a three-star prospect and the 33rd-ranked defensive tackle in the class, according to 247 Sports' composite ranking system. He stands at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds.

Paea's commitment continues Michigan's recent hot streak on the recruiting trail. He is on campus this weekend visiting for the spring game festivities and is the fourth commitment to the 2017 class this week.

He had a laundry list of offers from programs like Oregon, Notre Dame, Michigan State, USC, Arizona and others.

Michigan is now up to ten commitments overall in its 2017 cycle. He joins quarterback Dylan McCaffrey, running backs Kurt Taylor and A.J. Dillon, tight end Carter Dunaway, offensive tackle JaRaymond Hall, linebackers Joshua Ross and Chase Lasater and defensive backs J'Marick Woods and Benjamin St-Juste.
