The other schools included in the list are Ohio State, Notre Dame and Penn State, making it a Midwest recruiting battle for the heralded prospect from IMG Academy in Bradenton.
Kaindoh is a five-star prospect and the top-ranked weak side defensive end in the class, according to 247 Sports' Composite rankings.
Michigan currently has 11 players committed to its 2017 class, including a five-star prospect in quarterback Dylan McCaffrey. The Wolverines finished their 2016 class with a five-star defensive lineman Rashan Gary, who will look to make an early impact when he hits campus this summer.
