Robert Cooper, a 2018 four-star defensive tackle has told Maize n Brew his Top 6, which includes the Michigan Wolverines.

"I'm highly interested in Michigan," Cooper said. "I mainly grew up watching them play."

The defensive tackle from Snellville, Georgia said that there is a "high" chance Michigan makes his Top 3. Cooper currently has offers from Florida State, South Carolina, Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri, N.C. State, Notre Dame, and Tulane. He was offered by Michigan on May 30, 2016.

The 6-foot-2, 362-pound four-star recruit does not know when he will visit Michigan. Regarding the chance to play for Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, Cooper said, "It would be a huge honor because he is one of the greats. He coached in the NFL and he is the type of coach I like."

Cooper, who is in the Class of 2018 at South Gwinnett High School, is a great prospect, but still has things to work on before he reaches the college level.

"I think some of my strength is my quickness off the ball, my power, my quick feet, and takes on double and triple teams and my weakness is just my conditioning really," Cooper said.

He does not have a leader "at the moment" and said, "I plan on committing after my junior season."
