"I have been talking about visiting Michigan this upcoming season," the 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive end said. "Around October or September. I am just expecting that Michigan has a family feel and the academics are as good as advertised."
"In my mind, it is very special," Hinton mentioned regarding the offer to Michigan. "It is a huge accomplishment and a huge blessing to receive that offer. It shows me what I am capable of accomplishing if I just keep working. I am not worried about how many offers, I just want to be the best I can be and reach my potential because if I can do that then the sky is the limit and the offers will come."
Hinton plays for Greater Atlanta Christian High School in Norcross, Georgia and has offers to Georgia, Michigan and Rutgers. He was offered by Michigan on January 5, 2016. Hinton is dominant as a run stopper but needs to improve on his pass rushing abilities.
"As a team, I want nothing less than a championship," Hinton said regarding this upcoming season with Greater Atlanta Christian. "I feel like we are capable of doing that and personally, I want to be a game changer. I want to impact the game every time, and you know maybe get a couple sacks here and there."
As far as a commitment date, Hinton said, "I can not even think about committing yet. I am just ready to enjoy the process. So, I have no idea."
"It would be a great honor to play for a great coach in Jim Harbaugh and a great program," the 2019 graduate mentioned.
