Miami commit Chris Henderson Jr., who is a 2017 four-star cornerback and running back, told Maize n Brew that he is interested in Michigan and will check out the program.

"I am interested in Michigan because my teammate (2016 defensive end Josh Uche) signed there and coach Jim Harbaugh seems like a great coach, so I want to check them out," Henderson said.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound athlete is ranked 243rd in the nation for the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He is the 14th rated athlete and the 36th-best player in the state of Florida.

From Columbus High School in Miami, Florida, Henderson has offers from Miami, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida Atlantic, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oregon State, Purdue, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, USC, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. He was recruited to Michigan by Mike Zordich.

"I can not say a lot yet [about Michigan]," Henderson said. "I have not seen the campus or even been in Michigan."

When asked if he would possibly flip his commitment, Henderson mentioned, "Yeah, it is a possibility."
