DeGabriel Floyd, a 2019 athlete from Hawkins High School in Los Angeles, California, has announced that he has received an offer from Michigan.

Floyd has offers from Michigan, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Arizona and Tennessee. Floyd moves well and will continue to grow for three more years before he makes his way to the college stage. The development in his growth could be the biggest factor to determine which position he will take on in college. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound stud is listed as an athlete, but primarily plays running back and outside linebacker.
When asked by Greg Biggins of Scout if he was being recruited on one side of the ball more than the other, Floyd said, "Not really. I do not really know."
The athlete has an interest in Notre Dame and USC. The offer from Michigan was Floyd's fifth offer. However, he will surely see more come his way in the next few years.
"I have always liked college football," Floyd said. "All schools and all divisions, so I do not really have a favorite one right now. I am looking for a comfortable environment for my mom to be comfortable with all the coaches on the staff, I want to feel like I am at home with the people that I play with and the coaches that I am surrounded by."
Floyd could be the next big-time recruit out of Hawkins High School. He will visit Tennessee in July.
