Cesar Ruiz, a 6-foot-3, 315-pound four-star center from the Class of 2017, released his Top 8, which includes Michigan.

Along with Michigan, the list includes LSU, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, Florida State, North Carolina, and Auburn.
The center is the No. 134 player in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He is the top overall center and the 27th-best player in the state of Florida.
Ruiz has offers to play for Michigan, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, LSU, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Temple, Arizona State, Baylor, Buffalo, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan State, Missouri, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCF, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

The Maize and Blue have been highly active in the attempt to bring Ruiz to Ann Arbor. He was recruited to play for the Wolverines by Chris Partridge and Tim Drevno. Ruiz visited the program on June 24, 2015, and was offered the following day. Since then, he visited Michigan on April 1st. Don Brown and Jedd Fisch from Michigan visited Ruiz on May 16th.
