On June 1, Irvin told Maize n Brew that Michigan was in the lead and that he was planning to visit the school in early July.
The 2018 graduate would be honored to play for Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, saying, "It would be great. I love what he is doing up there changing the entire culture and making football fun again and hardnosed at the same time. It's good up there.
Irvin, who holds two offers from Big Ten Conference schools in Michigan and Illinois, believes that he can get about 10 offers from big-time college. It will be interesting to see if Irvin sticks with Michigan or decommits from the program down the road.
"I am going to work hard and give my best effort every day, looking at film, studying plays and working on technique," said Irvin regarding on how he can help Michigan win a national title. "That is how I think I can help, but we will see what the coaches think."
As for now, the 2018 graduate will be wearing Maize and Blue in his future.
