We caught up with the defensive back commit this weekend.

Michigan commit J'Marick Woods is not going anywhere. He told Maize n Brew that he is "110% to Michigan."

The three-star safety from Florence, Alabama committed to Michigan on March 28, 2016, but received a huge offer on May 31, 2016, to play for LSU. Woods, who was recruited to Michigan by Tyrone Wheatley, has offers to play for Michigan, LSU, Arkansas, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Penn State, Tennessee, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. He did not get an offer from Alabama.

"It means a lot because my favorite player, Tyrann Mathieu, went there also," Woods told SEC Country in regards to the LSU offer. "It caught my attention because I grew up wanting to be like the Honey Badger."

While many are wondering if Woods will flip his commitment from Michigan to LSU, he quieted those rumors saying, "I'm 110% to Michigan. [Michigan] is the best opportunity for me. My family, coaches, teammates and everyone else who supported me agree with it."

As a matter of fact, Woods will be graduating from Florence High School in December to get ready for the start of his college career with Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound safety has been recruiting top players from Alabama to come play for Michigan.

"[I am recruiting] the top players in Alabama," he told Maize n Brew. "A few are considering."
