Bauer said, "I have not been able to get in contact, but I will be at camp June 20th."
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker from Cathedral Prep High School in Erie, Pennsylvania has offers from Penn State, Syracuse, Virginia and West Virginia. Bauer has an interest in Michigan and is an up and coming star, so he could possibly get an offer from the Wolverines in the near future.
"I like Penn State," Bauer told Today's U. "That’s just one that I like right now. That was kind of like my childhood school, so of course I like them, but I’m still kind of keeping it open."
"[An offer from Michigan] would be nice, but because I basically know nothing about the place and coaches they have to make an impression before I get my hopes up," Bauer said. "Jim Harbaugh is such a big time figure and I think our personalities would work well together."
Bauer is ranked 93rd overall for the Class of 2018, according to 247Sports. He is ranked fifth among all outside linebackers and sixth in the state of Pennsylvania.
As far as committing to a school, Bauer said, "No set date, just whenever it feels right."
