Najee Harris, the nation’s top player in the 2017 class, is officially Alabama-bound.
After weeks of buildup and hype thrown in the direction of his recruitment, which pitted the Crimson Tide against Michigan, Harris landed in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday and has made his commitment to Nick Saban official.
Reports surfaced earlier Sunday that Harris landed in Alabama and confirmed to Brandon Huffman of Scout that he was set to enroll and start classes with the Tide.

Harris is the nation’s top player in the class of 2017, according to the 247 Composite. He would have been a big boost to Michigan’s already loaded class, but he stuck with his long-time commitment to college football’s current powerhouse.
The recruitment took a lot of twists and turns and the Wolverines put themselves into position, but it was not to be. They now move on and work to close out the cycle on a high note with National Signing Day just a few weeks from now.
