Once Hill flipped to Alabama, many recruiting services and experts believed this recruitment wasn’t over. I suppose they were all correct, as Hill is officially as Michigan Wolverine.
The 6-foot, 186-pounder is the No. 8 player in the class and the No. 1 safety. He will instantly compete for a starting job in 2019 with senior Tyree Kinnel graduating.
Hill is instantly the prized jewel of the 2019 class. He is the lone 5-star, was at a position of dire need and is one of the best athletes in the country in his class. This is a huge win in so many different ways.
Michigan’s 2019 class jumped from No. 9 to No. 6 after Hill re-committed to the Wolverines, leapfrogging Clemson and Texas.
Editor’s note: Michigan has since dropped to No. 7, after Clemson jumped to No. 5. (These rankings will change throughout the day)
