The offensive unit has been an ongoing issue, so the coaching staff want to recruit the best players in the country to change that.
One of Michigan’s targets in the 2020 class, Johnny Wilson, released his top six schools and the Wolverines made the cut.
Wilson is a 6-foot-5 wide receiver from Calabas, California that’s currently ranked third-best overall at his position, fourth-best in his state and 14th overall player in the 2020 recruiting cycle on 247Sports’ composite.
Wilson included two Big Ten teams in his top six — Michigan and Northwestern — so leaving California and the west coast does not seem to be a problem for him.
