Michigan makes top 11 for elite in-state ATH Enzo Jennings

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 03 Penn State at Michigan

Michigan is still in the running for one of the top prospects in their backyard for the 2020 cycle.

On Wednesday night, top 100 athlete Enzo Jennings included Michigan in his new group of the 11 programs he is still considering.

The 4-star athlete has a mix of Midwest and Southern schools in his group. SEC schools Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee joined Big Ten schools Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State. Pitt and Notre Dame round out the list.

The Fighting Irish are the team to beat right now for the blue chipper. They have 100 percent of the crystal ball picks. Georgia and Auburn are also real threats.

Jennings projects to safety for most at the next level. The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder could also play wide receiver.

Landing Jennings would be big for Michigan, not only because he’s the No. 2 player in the state. He’s teammates at Oak Park with No. 1, 5-star offensive lineman Justin Rogers, and the two are considering a lot of the same schools.

Can Michigan pick up their in-state recruiting after landing only two players from the state in the 2019 class? It looks like they are off to a better start at least.
