The visit from the St. Frances Academy players two weekends ago is already paying dividends, as 3-star offensive tackle Micah Mazzccua announced his commitment to Michigan on Monday night.

Mazzccua is ranked as the No. 800 player in the country and 86th tackle in the country right now by 247Sports. That will probably change in just a few days when they update their rankings, but that’s where he’s at right now. 247 is the only service to have ranked him so far.
Besides Michigan, the 6-foot-5, 289-pound prospect holds offers from Syracuse, Maryland and Temple.
247’s Northeast expert Brian Dohn recently said about Mazzccua that “he was raw but had good length and athleticism,” adding he was “excited to see him (Mazzccua) in the spring for his development.”
Like I mentioned above, Mazzccua attends Maryland powerhouse St. Frances Academy, making him the teammate of 4-star linebacker Osman Savage. Michigan also received a crystal ball for 4-star running back Blake Corum following the visit.
Mazzccua is the first offensive line commit of Michigan’s 2020 class. I expect Michigan to take three or four more linemen in the class.
