One of the top athletes in the 2020 class — 4-star Daniyel Ngata — released his top 11 schools on Twitter Saturday, and the Michigan Wolverines made the cut.

Oregon, Washington, Utah, Washington State, LSU, Oregon State, Alabama, Arizona State, Nevada and San Diego State are also being considered by the 5-foot-9, 180-pound athlete from Folsom, California.

According to his junior season highlight reel, Ngata compiled 1,725 all-purpose yards (874 rushing, 667 receiving) and 22 touchdowns as a running back. He also handled kickoff return duties.

Ngata is currently the No. 9 athlete, No. 15 player in California and No. 107 overall player in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. There is one crystal ball prediction for Washington, but it is still very early in his recruitment, seeing as he narrowed down his list to a whopping 11 schools.

Maize n Brew has reached out to Ngata for comment, but we have not heard back from him yet. We will continue to monitor this recruitment and provide any updates when possible.
