A second touted offensive line prospect included Michigan in his group of top schools on Monday. This time it’s Louisville 2020 4-star offensive lineman John Young.

The Wolverines are joined by Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State and Purdue. Local Kentucky holds the only crystal ball prediction for Young, but he’s also visited the hometown Cardinals a boatload of times and recently visited Georgia, who is predictably surging up the board.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Young is ranked as the 306th overall player in the country and 29th offensive tackle.

Michigan offered Young back in late November, and he recently visited campus in January. He told 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong his thoughts about the program last month ($), saying “the level of education and football there is unmatched. It gives me a family vibe there which I really like.”

If Young takes his recruitment out further, I’d expect Michigan to receive an official visit, considering visits to Louisville and Kentucky aren’t expensive and don’t need to be paid for by the school.

In the meantime, check out his junior highlights below.
