Michigan is starting early on the 2021 class, landing its first commitment of the cycle from in-state offensive tackle Giovanni El-Hadi.

This commitment comes following a visit on Sunday that resulted in him receiving an offer, one the Sterling Heights native was obviously waiting for.
El-Hadi is not yet ranked by any of the services, but holds offers from Central Michigan, Indiana, Iowa State, Penn State, Purdue and Western Michigan.
That mix of offers this early in the process and his 6-foot-6, 285-pound frame suggest he will develop into a solidly ranked prospect, not to mention the staff’s uncanny evaluations on the line under Ed Warinner.
It’s way too early to determine what the makeup of the 2021 class will look like, but it will probably have El-Hadi in it.
