Michigan is looking to dip back into Oklahoma for another highly-touted defensive back prospect in 2020. After getting Daxton Hill last year, Broken Arrow 4-star Myles Slusher included the Wolverines in his top 10 on Friday.

Slusher is also still considering Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Oregon, TCU and Texas A&M.
The 4-star is ranked 195th in the country and 14th at safety. From his 247 scouting profile, it certainly seems like he fits the mold for the type of versatile defensive back prospect the staff has been pursuing in the last couple of classes.
“Adequately-sized, versatile defensive back with traits that translate to safety and corner. Frame of a bigger corner or average-sized safety. Space to add some bulk in college. Well-rounded defensive back who could move around the secondary as needed. Could play safety, corner, or nickel. Instinctive playmaker from the back end. Plays with a ball-hawking style.”
Slusher was offered last spring by the staff, but has yet to visit campus. He was scheduled to be in Ann Arbor for a game last fall with his teammate and fellow target, 4-star guard Andrew Raym, but that looks to have fell through.
Getting him on campus soon will be important in keeping up Slusher’s interest. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Oregon all have a crystal ball pick, but the local Sooners were notably left off the list and for some reason have not offered the No. 3 player in the state yet. I’d also keep out an eye for Arkansas and the Texas schools here.
