The 2020 recruiting trail is starting to heat up for the Michigan Wolverines as 2020 3-star linebacker Devin Hightower has put Michigan in his top five.
First of all, I want to thank the man above for blessing with all of these amazing opportunities. Also my family and and all the coaches who have recruited me these past couple years. It has definitely a tough decision, but I want to proudly announce my final 5 (Recruitment Open) pic.twitter.com/2fFtLAGXsR

Hightower attends Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio.
Two other Big Ten teams cracked his top five in Iowa and Michigan State. Pittsburgh and Cincinnati round out the list.
According to 247sports, Hightower is 6-foot-1 and 218 pounds. His size allowed him to be quick enough to also line up in the secondary as a slot corner. He lists himself on his Hudl page as a linebacker, defensive back and athlete.
The crystal ball predictions are split 50-50 between Michigan and Pittsburgh.
He is the No. 18 player in Ohio, the No. 47 at his position, and the No. 633 player in the country according to 247sports.
Here are some highlights from his junior season:
The Wolverines have added three commitments in the class over the past two weeks with commitments from 4-star offensive lineman Zak Zinter, 4-star defensive end Braiden McGregor and 3-star linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green.
There are currently eight total commits for the 2020 class.
