The top player in the state of Michigan is finally ready to make a decision. 4-star guard Justin Rogers has narrowed his list down to five schools and is set to announce his commitment on May 20.

Along with Michigan, the other schools still in contention to receive his pledge are Georgia, Kentucky, LSU and Tennessee.

There have been plenty of twists and turns in Rogers’ recruitment, as Ohio State, Georgia and Tennessee were all thought to have led for the No. 30 player in the country at some point during his process.

Now, based on a recent run of crystal balls, it seems like Kentucky has taken the reins. They have a connection to Oak Park, signing 4-star guard Marquan McCall from the school in 2018.

It’s never been really clear where Michigan has stood with Rogers, but it’s never been at the top. There was a recent upswing in interest this winter when he made a few visits to campus, but Ed Warinner doesn’t seem to have made up enough ground.

If Rogers does end up choosing the Wildcats, then there will at least be plenty of time to flip him before Signing Day.
