Jalen Berger, the top-rated player in New Jersey for the 2020 recruiting cycle and a 4-star running back, is considering several Big Ten schools in his top 10, including Michigan.

The 6-foot, 187-pound running back from Don Brosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey is the top-rated player in the state, No. 9 running back and No. 54 ranked player overall, according to the 247Sports composite.
He unofficially visited three Big Ten schools in a span of four days a couple months back — Michigan, Ohio State and Maryland, in that order.
He currently has 29 offers with nine coming from the Big Ten.
Michigan currently has 10 commits in the 2020 recruiting class, with nobody at his position.
