The first Michigan commitment to drop stemming from the huge recruiting weekend in Ann Arbor is 3-star athlete William Mohan, out of Erasmus Hall (NY).
I WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM COMMITTING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN 〽️✨. @alexgleitman @BSB_Wolverine @247Wolverine @CoachJim4UM @FBCoachDBrown @CoachCPartridge @Coach_Campanile @Thee_Matty_D @T7_Jones pic.twitter.com/APVEdR1nQU

While listed as an athlete, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Mohan is ticketed for Viper in Don Brown’s system. He’s ranked as the No. 415 player in the country, and third in the state of New York.
This was a big pull from Erasmus Hall, where Ohio State has set up a bit of a pipeline that produced Curtis Samuel and Matthew Jones. Mohan took an official to Columbus last week, but it was not enough to overcome his feelings towards Michigan.
Mohan is Michigan’s 11th commitment in 2020, but I’m not going to bother with the national or conference rankings until the dust settles from the likely further commitments that are coming down the pipeline.
