Michigan’s good news from the weekend continues with the commitment of Massachusetts 3-star athlete Eamonn Dennis, who is the fifth player to announce since Sunday morning.

Dennis is an offensive weapon who is going to get compared to Mike Sainristil a ton because they’re both from Massachusetts and have almost identical composite scores as of now. In fact, watch the first play from both of their highlight tapes and tell me they’re not the same player:
They even wear the same number! As you can tell from above (the second clip), Dennis has impressive acceleration, balance and long speed. He claimed a 4.52 40-yard dash and a 40-inch vertical at The Opening Regionals in April.
As a junior, Dennis said he had about 800 all-purpose yards, scored 13 touchdowns and took three kickoffs to the house.
Dennis is ranked as the No. 483 player in the country and the No. 34 athlete. His commitment gives Michigan the third and fourth highest ranked players in the state of Massachusetts, following 4-star offensive lineman Zak Zinter.
This commitment jumps Michigan into the top ten classes nationally, at No. 9. With a few more players to announce, that is going to continue to climb.
