The good recruiting news for Michigan keeps on rolling. This time it’s in the form of being included in a top 10 list put out by one of their top safety targets in New Jersey 4-star RJ Moten.

Joining the Wolverines in the top list includes Notre Dame, Maryland, Kentucky, Purdue, Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska, Pitt and Rutgers. He also announced he’ll be committing on July 27, which means Michigan got his last visit, since the dead period starts today.

Moten is ranked as the No. 332 player in the country and the No. 18 athlete on the composite, since he plays on both sides of the ball. 247 has him starkly higher, which has been a trend with Michigan’s commits lately. They have him as the No. 177 player overall and No. 12 at athlete.

Michigan already nabbed another safety from the state yesterday in Jordan Morant, but has a good chance to double up with Moten, who visited earlier this month and has 100 percent crystal balls pointing to Michigan.

Moten is being recruited by schools as both a running back and safety, but is only be recruited as the latter by the Michigan staff. He may pull double duty in another way though, as he’s an excellent baseball player as well.
