Persi is the 412th-ranked recruit in the country and 35th-ranked offensive tackle in the class of 2020, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is the seventh announced commit coming off of the Wolverines’ huge recruiting weekend in Ann Arbor over the weekend with more apparently on the way in the coming days.
As an offensive lineman, Persi is the fourth member of the position group in this class so far, joining four-star center Reese Atteberry, four-star guard Zack Zinter and three-star Micah Mazzccua.
With 15 commitments now in the 2020 class, the Wolverines sit at the No. 9 spot nationally in the recruiting rankings and are second in the Big Ten behind rival Ohio State.
