The top rated center in the class of 2021 has announced his top 8, and the University of Michigan made the cut.
Linthicum has over a half dozen offers, but he’s to the point in his search where he’s narrowed the field down, and three Big Ten teams are included (Michigan, Ohio State, Maryland), along with North Carolina, LSU, Clemson, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

Rivals and 247 Sports both have Linthicum ranked as the top center in his class. The 6-foot-4, 275 pounder out of Damascus (Maryland).
Linthicum’s most recent visit was to Clemson and said the Tigers are very high on his list. In the same interview, he said that he will release a top 5 in fall or winter and ultimately announce who he’s committing to in the spring of 2020.
When it comes to Michigan, his relationship with 2021 Michigan five-star QB commit J.J. McCarthy may prove to be valuable. Linthicum told WolverinesWire in May that he and McCarthy are very close and could see the two getting along very well. When McCarthy announced he’d be committing to Michigan, Linthicum tweeted this out.
