2021 4-star quarterback Miller Moss is the 8th rated pro-style QB in his class, according to 247 Sports. The top tier prospect from Bishop Alemany in Mission Hills, California put Michigan in his Top 7 list on Wednesday night.
Thank you to all the universities that have offered me an opportunity... this is my final 7❤️ pic.twitter.com/h5O23R92we

Other programs on the list include Alabama, California, Georgia, UCLA, USC, and Yale.
What makes this development interesting is the fact Michigan has a high profile QB commit in the 2021 class already, five-star J.J. McCarthy. What makes it even more interesting is there is a crystal ball in, by 247 Sports National Recruiting Manager Kevin Ryan, that has Moss heading to Michigan. While it may seem like more of a long-shot Moss winds up at Michigan based on McCarthy being in the fold in the ‘21 class, this is a situation worth monitoring at the very least.
Moss had a visit in Ann Arbor earlier this year, and he said highly complimentary things about Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Josh Gattis.
“The visit to Michigan really blew me away, it was an incredible experience,” Moss said. “The hospitality was incredible and I was able to connect really well with coach Gattis (OC), coach McDaniels (QB coach) and coach Harbaugh,” Moss told 247 Sports. “I was able to break down film with coach Gattis and we had a great rapport with each other. He went really in-depth and it was unlike any other meeting I’ve had. I really like the offense and the scheme a lot. Coach Gattis was at Alabama this past year and isimplementing that system at Michigan. It incorporates a lot of RPO stuff and requires a cerebral quarterback, which I love.”
Check out some highlights from Moss’ 2018 season below. As you can see, Moss is yet another Michigan QB target that has a big arm and fast legs, traits that fit their new offensive scheme nicely.
