Victory Vaka, a four-star defensive tackle and top target for Michigan in the 2021 class, will take his fifth and final official visit to Ann Arbor June 19-21, he told Maize n Brew.
The 6-foot-3, 315-pounder from Westlake Village, California has a final five of Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, LSU and Utah. He plans to officially visit all five schools before making his decision June 28, a decision date he announced on Twitter last weekend.
Committing June 28th.

U-M defensive line coach Shaun Nua is leading the charge in this recruitment, and Vaka gave him some high praise.
“(Nua and I) talk when we can. We’re both very busy on a daily basis so when we talk, we talk, if that makes sense,” Vaka told Maize n Brew earlier this month. “He’s a great coach but a better person.”
As things stand right now, Michigan appears to be in a pretty good spot. There does not seem to be a clear cut favorite at the moment, so this recruitment seems up for grabs. As long as Vaka’s official visit to Michigan goes well, the Wolverines will have a pretty good chance here.
As always, more updates will be provided when they’re available.
Vaka is the No. 14 defensive tackle, No. 19 player in California and No. 198 overall player in the 2021 class on 247Sports’ composite.
