It’s going to be a strange year. The Michigan Wolverines already had 10 players selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, so this season was going to feature a lot of new faces already. Add in the fact that the NCAA will be preserving this year of eligibility for all student athletes, and you essentially have a “free year” of participation. My prediction is that you’re going to see more true freshmen play this year than ever before.
Who are the top 5 guys to break out this year in their first year as a Wolverine? These are my candidates (in random order):
- Makari Paige: 247 profile | Michigan profile | Full scouting video
- Kalel Mullings: 247 profile | Michigan profile | Full scouting video
- Blake Corum: 247 profile | Michigan profile | Full scouting video
- Roman Wilson: 247 profile | Michigan profile | Full scouting video
- Andre Seldon: 247 profile | Michigan profile | Full scouting video
- A.J. Henning: 247 profile | Michigan profile | Full scouting video
- Nikhai Hill-Green: 247 profile | Michigan profile | Full scouting video
In the video, I rank them in the order of the level of “impact” they’ve have for this upcoming season. Is there anyone I missed? An alternate order that you think would better fit this team? Let me know in the comments below!
