Michigan football 2021 offer board update: June 19

The offer board keeps shrinking, although the staff will continue to recruit a few prospects committed elsewhere.

This week’s offer board roundup features a lot of maintenance more than anything with 247Sports updating their offensive rankings a few days ago. I hadn’t changed the composite, overall and position rankings for the players in a while, but now they should be fully updated until the next time a site does a reevaluation.

The recruiting cycle seems to be in a holding pattern right now, as most of the prospects who don’t want to wait to take visits have already committed and the ones who are waiting don’t have anything notable to update. So there aren’t many new offers or even top lists going out, and even the amount of recruits committing to other schools has slowed.

At least Ohio State missed on two targets this week!

Subtractions

Removed JC Latham from the board. The five-star offensive tackle committed to Alabama on June 12.

Removed Hudson Wolfe from the board. The four-star tight end committed to Tennessee on June 15.

Removed Ishmael Ibraheem from the board. The four-star cornerback committed to Texas on June 15.

Removed JD Coffey from the board. The four-star safety committed to Texas on June 15.

Removed Derrick Edwards from the board. The three-star cornerback committed to Louisville on June 16.

Top Lists

Added “No” to Michigan being in Erick Smith’s top group of schools. The three-star wide receiver narrowed his top list of schools down to five: FIU, Memphis, USF, South Alabama and Middle Tennessee State.

Added “Yes” to Michigan being in Logan Fano’s top group of schools. The three-star defensive end included Michigan in his list of top eight schools, along with Wisconsin, Utah, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Washington, BYU and Virginia.

Keeping Tabs

Noted AJ Green committed to Arkansas. The four-star running back committed to the Razorbacks on June 12.

Noted Dyson McCutcheon committed to Washington. The three-star cornerback committed to the Huskies on June 13.
