On the same night the Michigan Wolverines picked up a commitment from 2021 four-star defensive end Quintin Somerville, they also made the top list for one of their top targets at the wide receiver position — 2021 three-star in-stater Andrel Anthony.
Blessed To Be In This Position.. Top 4 ❤️..

The Wolverines made the list alongside Michigan State, Penn State and Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder from East Lansing has been a long-time target for Josh Gattis and company. Michigan offered Anthony last July and have been recruiting him ever since. However, with Michigan trending up for four-stars Cristian Dixon and Jayden Thomas, along with four-star Xavier Worthy also out there, it’s likely Anthony has fallen down Michigan’s board a bit.
All five crystal ball predictions are in favor of the hometown Spartans. Since Michigan has so many other targets still available, and MSU and Mel Tucker are recruiting Anthony harder than anyone in the 2021 class right now, I would expect him to wind up at MSU when it’s all said and done.
The Wolverines are likely hoping to take in a couple more receivers in this class. They currently have just one wide receiver committed in 2021, three-star Markus Allen.
