The Michigan Wolverines made the cut on Monday night for 2021 four-star offensive lineman Garrett Dellinger’s top four list, joining Ohio State, LSU and Penn State.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pounder from Clarkston also announced his commitment date in his top four video — June 24.
Dellinger, who also attends high school with 2021 four-star offensive lineman Rocco Spindler, has long been a top target for Ed Warinner and the Wolverines. They offered him back on April 10, 2018, and have been in his ear ever since.
LSU, however, remains the strong favorite, with all 11 predictions in favor of the Tigers. If he does indeed commit to LSU, he will have done so without ever visiting there, which is a big trend in this year’s recruiting class amid the coronavirus pandemic.
With the way things are trending, I expect LSU to get his commitment June 24. I don’t think Warinner and company will be completely done recruiting him if he does commit elsewhere, but it would be a major longshot to land him after an early commitment. Time will tell, but it looks like Michigan will most out one of its top in-state targets in 2021.
Dellinger is the No. 76 overall player in his class, per 247Sports’ composite.
