I’m starting to wonder if Michigan will end up offering any more players in the 2021 class before it’s over at this point. With them laser-focused on its remaining targets, this week’s offer board update is highly concentrated in the subtractions.
On the bright side, questions about Damon Payne and Jamari Buddin can be put to rest for good as the in-state blue-chippers committed to Alabama and Penn State, respectively. There was a lot of action among defensive tackles, with the big positive being Rayshaun Benny including Michigan in his top eight list while excluding the Buckeyes.
Subtractions
Removed Dyson McCutcheon from the board. The three-star cornerback has been committed to Washington since June 13, but Michigan was planning to keep recruiting him. A recent report indicated that is no longer the case, so I removed him from the board.
Removed Jamari Buddin from the board. The four-star linebacker committed to Penn State on July 17.
