Even with some conferences still planning to play football in the fall, the NCAA decided to push back the recruiting dead period again to the end of September. That means Michigan still won’t be able to host players on campus even without games for a while, and these offer board updates are going to keep focusing on prospects committing elsewhere.

Everyone should know about Rocco Spindler going to the Irish by now, but some other fringe targets committed elsewhere as well. Edge defenders Patrick Histatake and Derek Wilkins stayed on the West Coast to commit to Cal, while New Jersey cornerback Duce Chestnut went off the board to Syracuse.
