Coaches from Michigan reached out to 2022 top 100 wide receivers Kaleb Brown and Tyler Morris on Tuesday, they told Maize n Brew. Tuesday was the first day college coaches could directly reach out to players in the 2022 class.
Brown (5-foot-11, 177) and Morris (6-foot, 175) both hail from the state of Illinois and are being recruited by Jim Harbaugh, Josh Gattis and Sherrone Moore. J.J. McCarthy, who also is from Illinois, is also recruiting both of them.
Brown and Morris are both top targets in the 2022 class and both have early crystal ball picks to Michigan — Morris has four and Brown has three. Both received their Michigan offers in 2019, and both are on the All-American Bowl roster.
Michigan’s biggest competition for Brown right now are a couple of the elites of college football — Ohio State, Alabama and Notre Dame. As for Morris, he is being heavily recruited by the likes of Penn State, Missouri, Northwestern and Rutgers. Morris also holds offers from Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Michigan State and others.
Brown is No. 44 overall and Morris is No. 69 overall on 247Sports’ composite.
